A fresh face at Cirrus Research

Cirrus Research, experts in the creation and production of noise measurement instruments, has recently appointed Kevin Worth as Business Development Manager.

Kevin started his career in noise whilst working for the Environmental Health (Environmental Protection) team at Blackpool Borough Council; duties were varied and involved investigating many noise nuisance complaints. Catching the ‘noise bug’, Kevin wanted to learn more about the science behind noise and become trained in real-world, practical acoustics, so decided to return to education and study the Institute of Acoustics: Diploma of Acoustics and Noise Control at Leeds Metropolitan University. Following completion of his diploma, Kevin put his new skills to the test in various roles before taking up a consultant role for Environment Noise Solutions Ltd, working predominantly with clients in support of licensing and planning applications, building acoustics and Noise at Work Assessments within various industries.
Kevin brings a wealth of experience to his new role at Cirrus Research and will be working on a number of projects to help develop the future of the company, including new editions to the range of quality noise measurement instruments from Cirrus.

Rick Heap, Sales Director at Cirrus Research, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Kevin to the team here at Cirrus Research. With a varied career in both the practical side of noise measurement, as well as sales, we firmly believe that Kevin will be a strong asset to the team and help uphold the level of support and quality solutions that our customers have come to expect.”
