Exova Warringtonfire, the fire safety technology division of the world’s largest independent testing group, has appointed Craig Abbott as senior certification engineer.
Craig joins Exova’s certification business Warrington Certification Ltd to help develop its capability in all technical certification areas including fire stopping.
Craig also sits on a number of European committees in helping to develop new approvals and guidance for the fire safety industry.
This is Craig’s second period at Exova Warringtonfire, where he previously worked as a technical officer working in fire resistance. He has since worked at Hilti and at Nullifire, where he was business development and technical manager.
Craig, who lives in St Helens, Merseyside, said: “There couldn’t be a more exciting time to be re-joining the business, with expansion of facilities and services, a global approach and a wealth of expertise to offer.”
