BOHS’ Breathe Freely workshop programme announced

Following the recent launch of its Breathe Freely in Manufacturing campaign, BOHS, the Chartered Society for Worker Health Protection, has announced a new programme of FREE-to-attend breakfast workshops, specifically for health and safety personnel in the manufacturing sector.

Sponsored by Plymovent and SKC, the workshops will offer breakfast for all attendees, and the opportunity to expand their knowledge of the main health risks and issues around occupational lung disease in the manufacturing sector – especially in the area of welding – and learn what solutions are available to help prevent these.

Why attend?

Specialists from the fields of worker health protection and the manufacturing industry have collaborated to produce an agenda that aims to assist those with responsibility for, or an interest in, protecting the respiratory health of workers in the manufacturing industry. Delegates will benefit from:

•         Presentations from key speakers, including leaders in occupational hygiene and the manufacturing industry
•         Examples and case studies of measures taken to control exposures to prevent occupational lung disease in manufacturing
•         Expert tools and resources offered by the Breathe Freely in Manufacturing campaign – FREE to download

The workshop programme for the remainder of 2017 is:

•         19 September:  Glasgow: Holiday Inn Glasgow City Ctr Theatreland
•         19 October: Birmingham, venue TBC (central location)

These workshops are FREE to attend, and include breakfast. If you’d like to take advantage of this opportunity, please register your place now.
